Nothing Is Impossible With God

A boy was sitting on a park bench with one hand resting on an open Bible. He was loudly exclaiming his praise to God. “Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is great!” he yelled without worrying whether anyone heard him or not.

Shortly after, along came a man who had recently completed some studies at a local university. Feeling himself very enlightened in the ways of truth and very eager to show this enlightenment, he asked the boy about the source of his joy.

“Hey” asked the boy in return with a bright laugh, “Don’t you have any idea what God is able to do? I just read that God opened up the waves of the Red Sea and led the whole nation of Israel right through the middle.”

The enlightened man laughed lightly, sat down next to the boy and began to try to open his eyes to the “realities” of the miracles of the Bible. “That can all be very easily explained. Modern scholars have shown that the Red Sea in that area was only ten inches deep at that time. It was no problem for the Israelites to wade across.

The boy was stumped. His eyes wandered from the man back to the Bible laying open in his lap. The man, content that he had enlightened a poor, naive young person to the finer points of scientific insight, turned to go. He had taken only two steps when the boy began to rejoice and praise louder than before. The man turned to ask the reason for this resumed jubilation.

“Wow!” exclaimed the boy happily, “God is greater than I thought! Not only did He lead the whole nation of Israel through the Red Sea, He topped it off by drowning the whole Egyptian army in ten inches of water!”

Nothing Impossible

The Old Testament book of Exodus shows, over and over again, that nothing is impossible with God. Nothing! Moses was an ordinary man who was chosen by God to do an extraordinary task. On the far side of the desert in Midian, high on the mountain of God, Moses met the LORD face to flame. God appeared to Moses “in flames of fire from within a bush.”

I would imagine that Moses was probably dirty, sweaty, and stinky from shepherding as he stood on holy ground before the LORD. I’m sure he was keenly aware of his filth and stench, both physically and spiritually. As he slipped off his shoes, he hid his face in fear. Moses did not feel adequate for the assignment that he had been given. He wasn’t confident in his abilities to get the job done. In fact, he even pleaded with God to send someone else! Moses said to God in Exodus 4:10, “O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

But God had a plan and Moses was His man. Through ten plagues and many signs and wonders, God flexed his muscles through Moses. Once Pharaoh had finally let God’s people go, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. No compass was necessary. God led His people through the desert with a pillar of clouds by day and a pillar of fire by night. It must have been an amazing sight. It must have been thrilling…up until the point where Pharaoh’s army was closing in on them as they approached the Red Sea. Talk about being faced with a seemingly impossible situation! Moses and around two million of his closest Hebrew friends stood at the edge of the water with nowhere to go. They were trapped. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD (Exodus 14:10). BUT GOD! God was on time for the miracle show. He had a plan. He made a way. Nothing is too difficult for God! (Tweet that if you agree!)

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today…The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:13). God purposed this extravagant rescue for His glory. The Lord will fight for you. When God is on our side, fighting for us, we can certainly be assured of victory!

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left (Exodus 14:21-22).

The Israelites were saved, and Pharaoh’s army was destroyed – all under the watchful eyes of the LORD. God wanted to be glorified through a seemingly impossible situation. He wants to be glorified through the difficult situations that you face, too. If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) When we stand with Christ, we stand with power. What Red Sea are you facing? Nothing is impossible with God. When you set aside your doubts and call on the name of the LORD, you can face the waters of your circumstances with a strong confidence, knowing that God is able and willing to do great things in and through you. (Another Tweetable!) Continue to follow the pillars of cloud and of fire of God’s leading. You have a chance to bring God the glory of which He is so deserving!

Dear God, like Moses, I often feel unequipped to handle the assignments You have given me. You know exactly what overwhelming waters I face today. As I stand at the water’s edge, I commit to trusting Your strength. I will not give in to the fears, frustrations, and doubts that mock me. You are far more powerful than the circumstances of my life. Thank you for reminding me that nothing is too difficult for you. In Jesus’s name, amen.

  2. I am trusting God to restore my relationship with my ex of 10 years. We both made mistakes and hurt each other. I still love him so much and I pray God will heal us and bring us back together, stronger, happier, more loving and understanding than before.

  3. I’d like to ask God for the impossible. With God , Nothing is Impossible! I Hurt my ex with words to her friends , now she won’t talk to me. We Love each other but I made a mistake. Please Father Almighty God let her forgive me & please soften her ♡.

  4. Wow I am so happy I came across this site. Thank you Jesus. I’m going through a spiritual battle with my boyfriend Carlos. He broke up with me almost two weeks ago out of the blue and is acting like he was never in love with me. I know it’s all the devil and his evil demons inside of him so I’m not listening to Satan’s lies. The demons of pride, anger, wordly temptations, unforgiveness, doubts, confusion, secrecy, lust, alcoholism, lying, cheating, jealousy, greed, love of money, and many more are holding him captive. I’m not giving up on my relationship with Carlos cause God never gave up on me. I have faith and I believe and trust God’s promises. I know nothing is impossible for God. Please pray Carlos comes to his senses and escapes from the snare of the devil and seeks God again. Please pray for restoration of our relationship so we can get married like we had planned. Thank you and God bless you.

    1. Hello Donna:

I know this is two years late but I could not help but to respond. I pray that the Lord has stepped in and rectified your situation and rescued your loved one. It is so hard and painful to watch someone you love be trapped and bound by demons. I am going through a similar situation. I will be praying for you and Carlos.

      Love your sister in Christ

  5. My oldest son ran away from home April 7. We were trying to get him to spend a little less time with his girlfriend (unsaved) and at least a little time with us. His girlfriend pretty much told him it was her or us and he chose her. He has turned his back on his faith, his family and now has decided not to go to the great Christian college that he was accepted to and to enroll in an online college (she didn’t want him to go to college, she has a year left of high school). He is totally obsesses with her, they got summer jobs at the same place (he had to quit a job he had had for over a year to go to work with her), he has no communication with us what so ever unless he needs something. We didn’t even know he withdrew from the college he was to go to until we got an email asking for financial aid info for the online school. We have decided not to give him any of the info. If he feels he’s a grown up and doesn’t need us, he needs to do just that, grow up. It hurts like crazy every time we drive past the girlfriend’s house and his car is there, and whenever we do family things and he’s not here. And just knowing he is making one bad decision after another and his girlfriend (and her parents) are supporting him in every one of them.

  6. Such timely timely timely message! I really needed to hear this today. Indeed our God is the most powerful and nothing is indeed to difficult for Him. Nothing is impossible with OUR GOD. He can move mountains and I see Him doing this in my favor as I write. I feel liberated in my spirit and I know that he is at work in me. I have been waiting on Him for a job for a while and I know without a doubt that this is my season of victory and my time of favor Psm 102 vs 13.
Thank you for being used by God to speak and encourage a sister!

  7. I am flawed in so many areas of my life that it is amazing how God is still faithful. Im believing God fo a financial miracle. Im at the point where I could lose it all!

  8. We face a great financial burden. We have all of. Our kids plus grand kids living back at home and it is a big struggle everyday. I’m happy there home and I enjoy them very much.
We need a miracle asap. I try not to worry or be Wade down by it all…. I speak how faithful my Lord is and he will see us through.
But my hubby is very Stressed over it all.. I would look for work it help out I’m living with a frozen shoulder . My movement is very limited.
I know God will see us through this all. I have faith. I just don’t want my husband stressing more. I worry about him.
    Prayers are greatly appreciated

  9. I married a Christian man and we allowed the devil to destroy our marriage. We had no infidelity or abuse but allowed foolish pride to prevent reconciliation after an argument. I feel God asked me in March of 2011 to begin praying for my husband’s relationship with Good because after our divorce he walked away from his faith and also for marriage reconciliation. It has yet to happen but I keep seeing the “the pillars of cloud and of fire,” as God leads me to continue. Please stand with me in prayer. Thank and God bless you!

  10. I really needed to hear this message too. I’ve been staring at the Red Sea, waiting on it to part for two years now, but maybe Pharaoh’s chariots aren’t close enough yet, so that all the right people can witness God’s glory. The circumstances I’m facing are definitely impossible to overcome without God’s help, so he will certainly get the glory, I’m just so ready to see it all come to a sparkling conclusion! I get your emails each day and I have to honestly say that nine times out of ten your message is so timely that it gives me goosebumps. God sure does know how to speak to us, if we will but listen. Thank you so much for all that you do and I always look forward to the new messages each day.

  11. I realize everyone else posted 3 days ago but today was the first day I could finish reading this. Last Wednesday (the 10th) I took my licensing exam & walked out feeling like I had failed. Everyone has been telling me that’s a good sign I passed but… until this morning I was still struggling. When I walked out of the exam, I just prayed… I will give You ALL the glory if I pass. So today as I wait on the results… I’m thanking Him for a passing score… in HIS time…

    Thank you for this post.

    Blessings!

  12. Right now I am in a situation where my marriage is being broken by disobedience of my spouse and the person he is involved with… pray that I will be still and know that HE IS GOD.

  13. I’m trusting God to heal and restore my relationship, for God to heal my partner’s heart from his past so that he and I can move forward.

  14. Praise God! What a great reminder that He is in charge of my situation and that I’m not. And how humbling to realize or hear how small that circumstance is compared to Him!

  15. Thank you for this message. My heart is aching over my son. No matter how much his father and I have tried to help him, he continues in life destructive ways. I have given him over to the Lord and trust Him to lead my son. I know He can do what I cannot.
    God bless you.

  16. I love this story! Please pray for my marriage….my husband wants to leave after 22 years so that’s my Red Sea. But I know God is in control and I trust him!

  17. Dear Gwen…When God has seen us through one huge problem, we so quickly forget to say thank you, as we are always faced with another hurdle to take our minds off to our answered prayers. We have been through such a trying time since last year, having been forced to sell our property on Auction. The first auction date …. no one pitched….then a second was held 3 weeks later…with no success. The following day, a potential buyer approached the auctioneer after seeing the Ad in the paper. She made an offer….Less than 50% of the value of the property. We accepted the offer. I thought an auction should take place immediately. The actual deal only went through 5 months later. I cannot explain what we went through with the banks on our backs to foreclose. And needless to say, we were still very concerned with our outstanding debt. The sale of this property did not put us out of our misery. The funny thing is….you wake up every morning…given a wonderful new day, ….the cell phone rings, and God just changes everything. Our business starts flourishing again. Our focus is placed in another direction altogether, and not on what we have lost. God is alive, and real, and He answers prayers. My list is long….Very long….and I am learning to be patient, as HIS time is definitely not OUR time. He may not answer in the way that we dream of, but He does answer and knows what is best for us. The most wonderful thing to remember, that no matter what you are facing today, when you look back in a couple of months time, you won’t believe how things actually worked out.

  18. Thank you for this devotional. Today I am trusting the Lord with the recent diagnosis of eye cancer on my 6 week old son. I am also trusting Him in providing my husband a job to support our family of 6. Our God is able no matter how impossible the situation seems to be.

  19. Thank you for reminding me how GREAT IS OUR GOD! It is often difficult to “be still” and wait on God. Although I have a loving and supportive family I am going through a period of uncertainty after several months of job search after a layoff. I know that God provides but my heart starts to question what he has in store for me when time rolls on. I am encouraged today and will “be still” and continue to wait on Him.

  20. Thank you for this message today. My marriage is in ‘troubled waters.’ I am believing God for the reconciliation and restoration of our marriage, in Jesus Name. I am believing for the healing and wholeness to be brought back into our marriage, in Jesus Name. I am believing for our children’s protection and souls to be kept in God’s hands during this time of ‘troubled waters’.

    1. Standing with your in prayer Linda for your marriage. Please pray for mine to be reconciled as well, God bless you!

  21. Thank you, Gwen. I am waiting for the resolution of a problem raised by a lie told to a state regulating department. Waiting is not easy. Not knowing the full impact yet is causing a lot of anxiety and has put us in a financial bind. God is powerful, but His timing sometimes seems to be hard to understand. But standing strong in trust and faith will keep me as it has before!

  22. Thank you Gwen, I often forget to be still, in todays hussle and bussle I find it harder and harder to be still and listen. My Love for and faith in Jesus has pulled me through some weak moments, hard times and trials of desperation. His love has given me strength to continue to smile and love life when my world is upside down. I know that my daughters life is not mine to control, but to enjoy this beautiful gift the Lord blessed me with, but it is so hard to let go and allow the Lord to do what he has promised. Please pray for my daughters healing.
Thank you, for your generosity with your time to write all these messages that ALWAYS brighten my day and make me stronger. YOU are an ANGEL on earth.

  23. It’so amazing..i needed t hear that message today..God is all powerful and we seem to forget it any time we don’t see istant answers to our needs..thank you so much to remind me that He is always on control and He is our part! To God be all glory, always! 😀

  24. Thank you so much for today’s word. It has encouraged me and strengthened my faith. I am currently facing losing my home on July 26th because my husband is unemployed and although I am employed my salary alone cannot carry the mortgage. However he is off to an interview at 2pm today and some prospective jobs have come to our attention. I continue to believe in God and as Jehoshaphat said God my eyes are upon you!. So please remember my family in prayer and thanks once again

  25. Wow, our Father is an amazing Papa! In His infinite wisdom and grace, He has been having me stand in the midst of still waters since mid-April, resting, refreshing, drinking….waiting upon Him to give me direction, i.e. employment, housing for myself and son (down syndrome), we have been technically homeless and without means of support since November 2012….I am willing to “GO” but have received no direction in which way to place my first step…the outer ridges of the still waters are desiring to become stormy seas distrubing my peace and joy in the Presence of my Lord….I, currently, remain focused on Him who knows the plans He has for me and my son….please keep me in your prayers that I may hear clearly…also God has rekindled the desire to marry again after a 10 year, which I now know was a purifying and restoring process, relationship hiatus…He has been and continues to be my husband and am complete in Him; however, something is breathing on the flames within my spirit to walk the rest of my journey in partnership with a mate…prayers that I will wait upon Him alone and not seek my own way in this…His way or no way!

  26. Dear Gwen,, Your message gave me the answer to my pray this morning and provided me a deeper meaning in the words of Moses.. I am so grateful to know our Lord fight for us and goes before us.. But I once was able to stand at the waters edge and cast out all my burdens upon Him.. Praising God for your love for our Lord as you serve Him with a Heart like Jesus.. Blessings for beautiful day.. I treasure your prayers and keep them in my Journal.
    Carolyn

  27. The Lord has really used in in a mighty way today, as the tears roll. The waters seem so insurmountable, yet it is Christ who will calm the storm. My husband is a quadriplegic and although once active has deteriorated, we are financially on the brink of loosing our home in AR, no money and I have no job. I came to CA to work, leaving him there so I can support him. I am concerned he will pass, we loose our home, and a domino effect will take hold crash those waves directly on my family. But it is fear & anxiety that has gripped me. I want to be with my husband and that alone seems impossible. I commit to set aside “doubts and call on the name of the LORD, you can face the waters of your circumstances with a strong confidence, knowing that God is able and willing to do great things in and through you”.
I am unapologetically committing to trust the Lord with all the horrific circumstances I am facing, for the Lord will fight for me in this impossible situation.

  28. The message today was right on time for me. I needed to be reminded that God will always make a way. Please pray for strenght for me and my family as we take care of our terminal ill mother. Pray continue strenght and blessing for our mother. I also need relief from debt. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

  29. Thanks you for this on time message. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to go out into the “field” and the “assignment” of sharing the love of Jesus Christ to the lost. Pray for me, and the others, that I will stand boldly on the word of God and His promise that I can “do all things through Jesus Christ”. It’s not easy witnessing in unknown territories especially if its not something you do on a regular basis, but I’m trusting that the Lord will use me as a vessel to proclaim His word boldly and with authority; I need your prayers! Be blessed in Jesus name!

  30. I’m asking for prayers. I was laid off. Pray for me a JOB Please. I have bills, car, rent, utility bills. I need a financial blessing. I KNOW GOD IS ABLE!!!
It’s just the waiting, Nothing is Impossible with GOD. Thanks for y’all prayers. GOD BLESS.

  31. The message today was such a blessing. I am facing so much turmoil right now and I sure needed the strength this message gave me. I thank God for you

  32. Loved the devotional today. It’s so easy to allow the enemy to fill our minds with fear and doubt, but God is always faithful to send us little reminders the He is in control of our lives. God’s Word tells us to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition present our requests to Him, and His peace will guard our hearts!! It can be hard at times to obey his Word because we allow the enemy to fill our minds with lies. God is a gracious and merciful God, and we need to cast our burdens on Him. Trusting God for good results for medical test. Standing on His promises! He is holding me and carrying me and I am blessed!! 🙂

  33. Thank you for the reminder that nothing is impossible with God today. It is very timely for me too hear today as our extended family is going through a very rough time. Satan is like a roaring lion trying to devour and destroy and he has gotten a foothold on those that I love. Praise be to God for nothing is impossible with God and I am trusting in Him in all of these matters…

  34. Your message is so timely. The overwhelming waters I face are multi-faceted. But my God is not only aware of my challenges, He has assured me that He has everything under His control, and is working everything out for my benefit. After fervent prayer in church this Week, He told me through a stranger to me that, “You are OK. You are going through many hard things right now so you will trust Me even more.” This has given me the strength I needed to continue in the path He has set my feet on. I only want to follow Him. He has blessed me in so many ways recently, how could I turn from Him, especially now?

  35. i am believing in God to bless my financial situation. i work on commission and when I don’t sell I don’t make any money. This can be very frustrating at times but I know it is building my pipeline and God will release it and also release it overflowingly when the time is right. Patience and Belief!

  36. Thank you for today’s message. I really needed to hear this particular messaage today, and quite frankly God always knows the message I need to hear – but especially today. Like so many, I too over many years have put myself in a financial wirlwind and am now trying to climb out of the pit – I’m scared and anxious and just want it to be gone – but I know this all came to a head for me so that I may be convicted to stop and take responisiblity – but it’s so difficult to wait — I just want to be out of debt – but I’m praying and trusting. It’s frustrating to pray and feel like you can take on the world and then you just loose it – so today message has really reminded me that God is there always and I need to be still, pray, rejoice and give thanks that I have a job, home, husband and two beautiful girls, gas in my car and food in my house and an wonderful church family – Thank you again for being God’s angel and giving of yourself to help others.

  37. I believe God is asking me to trust him with my health and my life. I have an injury to my spinal cord/nervous system from a bad reaction to a cervical epidural steroid injection in October 2012. Doctors cannot tell me what or why it happened, so I have to believe that God is asking me to trust him on this since it is beyond our comprehension. I am a person who wants to know everything, therefore making it hard to just stand on my faith alone sometimes. I am asking for prayers to renew my mind to trust God alone and calm the doubts. I want to believe that is possible that God can and will heal me.

  38. This devotional today has once again shown me how God is always there with an answer to life’s problems. I am a recent graduate and am now on the job hunt. I have been struck with the harsh reality of just how cut-throat the world is and the lengths people will go through just to get a job. I was feeling discouraged and wondering if in order to advance in the world, i would have to compromise my principles and values. But this devotional today has given me the confidence to know that God is right there by my side. He is getting ready to do an awesome work and there is no need for me to fear, or to fall to the ways of the world. For he is mighty and even though my situation may seem difficult and there seems to be no answer in sight, he will part the waters and lead me across my ocean of doubt, into success. So I thank you for this word today, it has indeed been very encouraging.

  39. Im trusting God with my housing, job situation and restoration to a broken heart and being made whole again. Restoaration to my childrens lives and family

  40. I am having a hard time with that of Mea’s whos comment is right below mine. I struggle with my over thinking and causes me to go into distress and be overly anxious. Therefore causing me to lack motivation in seeking God. I love God with all my heart and soul and know that he has a great plan for my life and that he is holding me in his hands but through stresses that I am going through and my over thinking it causes me to doubt and fear and wonder where God really is during all this. I believe in him and pray probably a thousand times a day so i know he is there but I just struggle with feeling his presence. I have got told many times its not based on “feelings”, so I realize that its just sometimes I feel like God is supposed to just comfort me during the trials and right now I cant feel him and have no idea where he is taking me. I just got out of a year relationship with a guy that I fell in love with and thought God was leading, so now my doubts are over taking me and it makes me question what his purpose is in my life. And of course the guilt is just having a party inside my head during all of this too. I feel at fault for letting the relationship go on this long if it wasn’t really of God. Its just a struggle and I miss the guy so very much and just want to know more of God. This devotional is right up my alley and I know I have to step out on faith and surrender it all to God. Prayers are welcome, thank you.

  41. Thank you for this timely devotional. Last night I was wrestling with my future marriage, unsure about which direction to take. Negative talk about marriage in general has brought doubts to my mind. I’m sure when Moses was standing at the Red Sea he had so many doubts, this task was impossible. This devotional reminded me that all things are possible through God and has cast away the doubt that Dan and I will be good marriage partners. I know that God has set this man before me and that any personality differences will only complement not hinder our relationship. Our individual love for the Lord will strengthen us as the Lord unites us as one in marriage. In recent months the Lord has removed many obstacles both of us are facing and today my spirit is renewed. God is good, His timing is always on time! Thanks again for a great devotional.

  42. We are facing changes in our lives – changes as far as business and then what? Life has been so routine and for me felt secure with knowing what i was doing. If we would shut down the business it would drastically change what would be ahead. Would it be missions, new jobs? I pray that i might be open to change even when life feels so insecure without a regular routine.

  43. I’m struggling deeply with my thoughts lately. I’m giving bad thoughts too much power and have wound my whole physical being up with tension and anxiety. I have been praying that God would free me from this, that he would lead my spirit to trust him. My thinking is a definite pillar in my life and my overactive brain is starting to wear me down. I completely believe that God has a plan for my life, but I am getting weak in the waiting season. I pray that I can be free from anxiety and would appreciate your prayers as well. I want to trust our Lord more and more.

    1. Keep praying Mea. In recent years I have been riddled with so much anxiety and I am pleased to say that prayer works! When doubts and negative thinking arises, I just ask the Lord to cast away the Devil of Doubts. I pray God would release you from tension and anxiety today.

  44. When considering the ‘pillars’ God gives me the first thought was to your devotional each morning. I can’t tell you how many times something has been weighing on my heart and the next morning I wake to answers from the exact topic of your devotional. It’s amazing! I’ve shared your blog with many friends when your subject is helpful to them. You are an inspiration. Keep up the wondeful work you do for God. It is touching many!

PS. Do you have any similar devotions/blogs for Tweens/teens?

  45. GIG, What a wonderful reminder that our Lord is in charge, that nothing is impossible for Him. I just sent todays devotion to my printer thinking how I want to share this message with so many that are struggling with obstacles in their lives. Decisions that need prayer, trusting and having faith that our Lord will provide.
    stay strong!

  46. Yes, I just came across your devotional trying to find another one. How wonderful that I stumbled across GIG. I loved today’s devotional. Yes, God has me to trust him in a few areas in my life right now.. 1. With my students this upcoming school year. This will be my second year teaching inclusion to learning disability students who are struggling with reading and/or math.
I need to trust God and not to fear the unknown. Not to fear the behavior problems that will arise and the academic challenges these children face.
    2. Trusting God with my 46,042.06 debt. To believe that he can erase this debt. 3. Trusting God with my education. I need to go back to school. I would like to earn two more degrees and I have to work when I decide to go back and raise two children as a single mother. ( a challenge all in itself ) Trust God and believe that he has plan already mapped out for me to accomplish all that I need.

  47. My husband and I are in the process of starting a business. God laid on our hearts to open a B&B that can be used to touch lives and bring Him glory. It is so overwhelming to my finite mind! But God is growing my faith and stretching me like a giant rubberband! This devo this morning was a gift from God to help me start my day off on the right track! Once again I laid it ALL at His feet… I am a once and done kind of gal, but with this I have to turn it back to Him as many times as it takes! 🙂 Somedays too many to count! God brought the Israelites to it and through it… I know He will do the same for me! Thanks so much! Blessings, Carin

  48. I believe that God has plans to restore my marriage even after divorce and a marriage on my spouse’s part. That marriage has now broken up. We were married for 27 years before this happened and now through many trials and tribulations, I am standing that this will happen suddenly. As your message today is on nothing is impossible with God, if we believe in his Word and stand on it, God will do the impossible, no matter what it looks like. God is able and willing to do more than we can imagine or think. God can do what man cannot do. I have placed my trust and faith in God. I have encountered many naysayers who have tried to discourage me, but I know a God who specializes in during the impossible, in His timing and His way. Thank you for your wisdom that you impart to us given to you by God!!

    1. Standing in prayer with you Helen. I too know the sting of ridicule from those around you for believing in a “seemingly impossible” thing to happen but I too am believing for my marriage to be restored. We separated when our son was only two months old and we never reconciled. I love him more today than when we were together and my son (who is now 4 1/2) prayers for his daddy to “come home and remarry mommy” every night. I haven’t spoken of my heart to him as he is just a child but it is on his heart too. I would appreciate your prayers for my marriage as well. Please let us know WHEN he comes home!

  49. It was revealed to me that the enemy will be setting an ambush at the point opf making a choice for marriage. I’ve lived in fear and indecisiveness since this revelation. Right now, I know God wants me to trust him to make the right decision and I’m ready to do that.
