Between the recent election, COVID-19, and many people working from home this year, more Christians are turning to their screens to cope with their stress than ever before. Though Jesus invites us, “Come to Me,” more often than not people run to Facebook, Instagram, online games, podcasts, and YouTube videos to get through the day. While we want to want God most, the reality is that we turn to our phones more. Imagine what would happen if we lifted our eyes from our screens and lifted our empty hands in surrender.
