Lip Service vs. Heart Service

Gwen SmithBlog, Prayer 77 Comments

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. Today the post is a video blog about a person who dealt with complicated relationships and heavy heart burdens. A person a lot like you and me. A person who demonstrated a very valuable lesson that is relevant to each of us. Watch the video to hear more…

What’s my goal with the vlog stuff? Simple: to encourage you to think big thoughts about God and to inspire you to live fully in His grace and truth.

When we pray with our hearts verses praying with just our lips, God’s power is released in our lives to experience deep levels of His peace, grace, and blessings. The Bible tells us in 1 Samuel 1:13 that, “Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard.” She was a woman who prayed heart-deep prayers.

FOR YOUR REFLECTION: How is God nudging you to go deeper with Him? Have you done any serious business with Him lately?

POPCORN PRAYER TIME: Leave a prayer need as a comment below by posting three words. Yep! Just three words. 1-2-3. THEN: Pray for the needs posted in the three posts above yours.

Thanks for doing life with me!

Gwen
