Keewani Cook

Born into abject poverty in the Philippines, Keewani Cook’s childhood was difficult and heartbreaking. Her family moved frequently due to their inability to pay rent, and there was rarely enough food to go around. They lost family members to treatable medical conditions, all because they could not afford healthcare when it was needed. Life was hard, and she couldn’t imagine a way out of the hopelessness.

When she was 7 years old, Keewani was invited to participate in Compassion’s child development program at a local church. Through the love, support, encouragement and care she received from her sponsors and program staff, her life began to change drastically. Hope grew in her heart as she experienced God’s great love and learned that He had a plan for her life and future. Listen in as she shares her inspirational and challenging story.

Margaret Feinberg

In a culture that constantly tells us we’re not good enough, not beautiful enough, and not doing enough, it’s easy to feel as if we have nothing to offer. Lies about who we are and how we are failing slip into our thinking until we believe they’re actually reality. But that’s not what God intends for us.

Margaret Feinberg joins me in this episode where she exposes some of these false beliefs, shares some personal stories and shows you that the places of your deepest hurts can actually become wellsprings of your greatest healing.

Wendy Speake

Between the recent election, COVID-19, and many people working from home this year, more Christians are turning to their screens to cope with their stress than ever before. Though Jesus invites us, “Come to Me,” more often than not people run to Facebook, Instagram, online games, podcasts, and YouTube videos to get through the day. While we want to want God most, the reality is that we turn to our phones more. Imagine what would happen if we lifted our eyes from our screens and lifted our empty hands in surrender. What joy and freedom might be found? Wendy and I talk about all this and more in today’s episode. Prepare to be challenged and inspired.

Erin Weidemann

The world is loud when it comes to telling girls who and what they should be – and who and what they are. It’s high time we stop letting what the world tells our girls is truth, to become their truth. Erin Weidemann joins me to talk about this struggle and explains the history behind why she writes to inspire the next generation of girls to discover real beauty through the female heroes of the Bible.

Lara Casey

Women often feel like they have to have it all together in order to live a meaningful life. Instead they feel inadequate, overwhelmed, and exhausted as they figure out how to do it all. Lara offers this advice: “We can’t do it all, and do it well. But, we can choose to cultivate what matters.”

If you find yourself needing a fresh reminder that the Creator of the wildly massive universe is also the God of personal redemption, restoration and even God of the impossible, then you’re gonna love this episode.
